School, etc
Hey its like 2 hours on Fridays, I figured it cant hurt.
Heres the lowdown on my other classes.
On Mondays and Wednesdays I only have my morning math class, Applied College Algebra. I like the teacher, He seems to be a pretty nice guy and good at what he does. The class description pretty much says "For students who need a transferable one semester math course that is not pre-calculus, etc" So hopefully I do well in this math class!
Tuesdays and Thursdays are probably gonna be my favorites, not because of the classes. I have Human Lifespan (a type of Psych class). It seems to be okay so far, the Teacher can be amusing. Thats from 930 to 1050. Then from 1230 to 150 I have my speech class. The one class I've been putting off my whole time at MJC. I think I'll do okay though.
That reminds me, you know what sucks? A coworker of mine, Trisha, has a different speech class in the same room right before mine, so I see her when she leaves. Anyway, she was telling me that her teacher decided they weren't gonna do speeches. They're just gonna analyze other speeches and see if they're good arguments and what not. THATS NOT FAIR!!!! :( Figures that its too late to change. hah.
But yea, the thing that makes Tuesdays and Thursdays my favorite: During the long break between my two classes I get to hang out with Scot and Justin!!! Today we went to Sonic for lunch. Its cool because this is the first semester where I just don't sit by myself talking to no one during breaks between classes...haha kinda pathetic eh?
This is a very promising semester...
Oh and I love these guys, they're so bizarre:

Endless Summer?
???
Not quite. Maybe weatherwise, but other than that, No.
Yes It's that time again. School starts tomorrow. Yay, I'm SO excited to have loads of homework and tests to do. I've been waiting ever since last semester ended!!!
Sh'yea.
A lot of the friends I hung out with all summer are either already back in school, or going to be very soon.
In fact, these faces in gray are the ones that left or are leaving soon:
That leaves Doug, Tim, Travis, Andrew, Josh, Scot and Nathan. Which is totally cool, I love all those guys and theyre my good friends. but sheesh! heh.
At least I'll get to see Tina throught the semester, as shell likely be able to come home about once a month, and I'll be able to drive up to sac probably once a month or more often.
So, my friends that left, I hope this semester is a blast for all of you whether youre going back to school or starting somewhere new. Cheers.
Stephen the Warrior.
The quality isnt very good on that, but upon looking at that we all instantly thought, hey that looks like Stephen! If Stephen was in the movie 300.
That's Stephen for you guys that don't know him.
If you were wondering, we didn't rent that movie. We rented The Ex, starring Zach Braff. Which was a little dissapointing. Some funny parts though.
Annnnyway. Expect something a tiny bit more substantial out of me tomorrow night. Well, actually tonight cuz its already Sunday.
Blog on fools.

Vive Le France (French Photoblog #1)
So I finally got my pics of when I was in France with my dad, cuz we got his laptop fixed. So i decided to make a quick photoblog before work! It most likely won't be as good as the four England photoblogs, but I'll do my best. Here it is:
FRANCE
We took the subways to get pretty much everywhere.
This is the street our hotel was on. There were like 3 crêperies all near eachother. The French sure love their crêpes.
What trip to France would be complete without visiting the Eiffel Tower?
Waiting in line to take the elevator up the tower.
Looking up the elevator shaft. I thought this looked pretty cool.
View from the top
Spying on French people is always fun.
That's a French sun...
OoOo Nightfall!
So there were statues, monuments and fountains all over Paris in streets, parks, etc. Heres some of them.
This Turtle ate some bad turtle food.
We also saw Notre Dame!!!
I didnt find the hunchback tho. :(
Detail of one of Notre Dame's walls.
More sculptures from a Notre Dame wall.....somethings not right in this one..
They actually had a service going on while hundreds of tourists walk around the inside of Notre Dame. (sorry, all the inside pics came out blurry like this)
Heres some random pics:
Who can tell me what movie this is? (this isnt hard at all)
French breakdancers!!!! Someone should tell them its not the '80s anymore.
Davey Jones in France? but I thought he was Dutch?
Street shot, Thats the Arc de Triomphe in the background. Its blurry, but I still like this.
Thats all of France I have to offer as of now. I still got a buttload of pictures, so I'll make another blog or two probably later this week. :)
England Photoblog #4
(Blog orginally dated June 10, 2007)
Well this weekend my dad didn't have to work the whole weekend, so we took advantage of that. Saturday we went and saw another abbey, Fountains Abbey, in the morning. After that, we went Knaresborough for the annual parade and "Bed Races." Those were very amusing. (Basically, a "bed race" is just a flat surface with wheels, one person sits on it, and theres bars for about 4 people to pull and push the cart.) Today we got up and early and did a 3 hour drive to Scotland. We went to the city of Edinburgh, mainly to see the castle. Alright enough chit chat, heres the pics. Prepare yourselves, this may be a long one.
Saturday
We got to Fountains Abbey before it opened, so we walked to a nearby deer park to pass the time. After some short walking along the path we found the deer:
The females wouldn't let us anywhere near them.
But the males let us get pretty darn close. I'm thinking they could feel the strong bond of being male. Either that or they were thinking of how to kill us.
Fountains Abbey
We found this medieval grave/coffin. I found that it was just my size!
They got mad and put in me a holding jail...ok not really.
One of my favorites.
The Great Knaresborough Bed Race (and parade)
The beginning of the parade.
Heres a couple of the "beds" that I enjoyed.
Pirate themed. How original.
Scooby Doo. Getting closer. :)
GHOSTBUSTERS! We have a winner! (Bonus for the U.S. Flag)
Toward the end of the race, every team had to cross a river. Pretty intense if you ask me.
"Beds" in action.
Sunday
Edinburgh, Scotland
Some shots around town:
This bird has no respect. NO RESPECT!
So yea, I found William Wallace. He's actually a pretty nice guy.
I found a scottish king, He was kinda like those robot guys in San Fran. I put money in his basket and He knighted me! So its now, Sir Jeremy Bowers, thank you very much.
Welcome to Edinburgh Castle. Once home to Mary, Queen of Scots.
Unfortunately, I have terrible aim.
Weapons Room
Dampsel in Distress.
Dad enjoying the castle
Thats all folks! Now I probably won't have another blog for a long time, cuz I don't really have anything planned until Friday. One of the days my dad has a different shift we might go see another little town, but other than that, We leave for France this Friday. So, the next blog might not be until I come back!!! We'll see though.
